Serving as a leader is NOT an all or nothing position. You may serve one time or everyday. You may be an up-in-front leader or a behind-the-scenes leader. The decision is up to you and God. Think about it, pray about it, and discover how you can get involved!
A-TEAM: Our A-Team team is a group of adult volunteers who love direct interaction with the youth. They are UMYF counselors, Bible study or small group leaders, Sunday School teachers, mentors, and loving shepherds to our youth. Whatever roles they play, team members nurture youth by spending time with them and working to build relationships with them. The team meets once a month with the youth staff to discuss the needs of the youth and address concerns of the ministry.
PRAYER TEAM: The prayer team is made up of adults who would like to support our youth ministry through prayer. Your commitment is to pray for the youth ministry in general and to pray through a list of prayer concerns that are sent to you each month. The list contains requests from our adult and youth leaders and prayer "Joys and Concerns" that we receive throughout the week.
COOKIE CREW: This team is a very special part of the ministry! Every Monday we'll have "Lunch Bunch" for senior high students in the LOFT of the Christian Life Center, and throughout the week we'll have small group get-togethers and Bible studies. Cookie Crew is a team of adults who commit to baking a certain number of cookies/breakfast treats a week or month (you decide!) and deliver them to the church for the youth to eat throughout the week so that they feel "at home" in the Christian Life Center!
