Hurricane Harbor (completed 9th grade)
Get your swimsuits on and get ready to get wet! We'll meet at the CLC at 9:30 a.m. and head to Hurricane Harbor by bus. You must have a signed CUMC Medical Release Form (available online) as your ticket to get on the bus. You can pre-purchase your Hurricane Harbor ticket online at www.sixflags.com for $19.99 + a $2 “print fee” OR bring $20 to Kelsey Wolf on Sunday, July 27th. Don’t forget your money for food & snacks (no coolers allowed) and your SUNSCREEN. This will be an all day event until dark. |

Hawaiian Falls Event (completed 7th grade)
Bring your friends, your sunscreen and let's meet at Hawaiian Falls Adventure Park located at 4400 Paige Road (north of 121 at Plano Parkway/Paige) in The Colony for a day of waterpark fun. Arrive there at 10:15am to receive the group rate of $15 (includes admission, a snack lunch, and drink), and you'll probably want to bring extra money for snacks. Parents will need to pick up at the there at 3:30pm. |

Girls Night Out & Guys Welcome Too! (completed 8th-12th grade)
Hey all you girls....and girls at heart (guys)! Let's meet in the CLC LOFT at 5:00pm to see "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" while we eat dinner. Then we'll load up the bus and head to the movie theater for the new release of "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2". (Movie time will be determined once posted.) Youth Leadership Retreat (upcoming 6th-12th graders)
This overnight retreat begins on Friday at 8pm in the LOFT and is for youth who would like a leadership role in Youth Ministry as we begin planning for this school year. Cost is $10, and you'll need to eat before you come. Bring your overnight stuff (sleeping bag, pillow, etc.). Parent pick up time is at 9am on Saturday. Pre-registration is not required for this event. |

Lock-In (completed 10th grade)
Don't miss all the fun at this overnighter! We will meet at the CLC at 5:30pm and all go together by bus to the Ranger's game. Bring $25 for tickets and food. You'll also need a CUMC Medical Release Form (available online) for the bus. If you want to pass on the Ranger's game, we expect to be back to the CLC about 11pm, and you can meet us then. We will be attending church as a class the following morning. Bring your normal "lock-in" gear (sleeping bag, pillow, etc.). |

New Adult Youth Leader Training
There will be a training for all of our new adult leaders today in the LOFT from noon until 2:30 p.m. Lunch will be served. Please RSVP to Abe at abe@cumc.com This event is for all adults who will work with youth on a regular basis as Sunday School teachers or UMYF counselors. The training is NOT necessary for adults who will be helping with snack supper, cookie crew, or other "one time" events. |

THE MARATHON! An all night bus trip with multiple stops along the way. We'll start off with a Texas Rangers baseball game, then on to Studio Movie Grill (pizza buffet included), the Ice Rink for broomball, and Main Event. Get plenty of rest before you come....you'll need it! Cost is $100 and everything is included, but you can bring extra money for snacks if you like. We are updating our CUMC Medical Release Forms for the upcoming school year so EVERYONE must bring a signed medical release (available at cumcym.org) as your ticket to board the bus. |
