Fall Retreat (6th-12th grade)
We’ll head to Sky Ranch in Van, Texas, for a weekend of zip line, horseback riding, and out and about in nature with friends. Our special guests will be Wayne Kerr (music & worship) and Micah Nicolaus (guest speaker). Cost is $135, and we'll meet in the church parking lot at 5:30pm on November 21(eat dinner before you come) to check in. You must provide a CUMC medical release (unless you already have one on file), Event Policy form, and Sky Ranch release form to the Youth Office before the trip. You'll need to pack your sleeping bag or bedroll, pillow, casual clothes, extra money for souvenirs and horseback riding ($10), toiletries, towel, jacket (maybe) bug repellant, footballs, Frisbees, Bible, and smiles! We will return on Sunday, November 23, around 1:00pm, but parents will need to check the Hotline (214-855-umyf) the day of for updated arrival time. NOTE: Deadline for registration is Nov. 18th (unless there is still space available). We cannot guarantee a t-shirt for anyone who registers after November 12th. |
